IP PBX phone systems for growing businesses.
Cloud and on-premise IP PBX from iPECS and NewRock, designed around how your team calls, installed by our engineers and supported long after go-live.
What is an IP PBX?
An IP PBX (Internet Protocol Private Branch Exchange) is a business phone system that runs over your data network instead of traditional phone lines. It connects desk phones, softphones and mobile apps into one system, so your team gets extensions, transfers, voicemail, IVR menus and conferencing, whether they’re at their desk, in another branch or working remotely.
An IP PBX can run on hardware at your premises (on-premise) or be hosted in the cloud. The core calling features are the same; the difference is where the system lives, how you pay for it and who maintains it. Not sure which suits you? Read our guide to cloud vs on-premise PBX.

What is the difference between an IP PBX and a traditional PBX?
A traditional PBX relies on analog or digital phone lines and dedicated wiring. An IP PBX runs over your data network, so it’s easier to scale, supports remote and mobile users, and connects multiple branches more simply.
Should I choose a cloud or on-premise phone system?
Cloud suits teams that want low upfront cost, remote working and easy scaling. On-premise suits organizations that want the system and data on site under full control. We compare both for your site during a free consultation.
Can I keep my existing phone numbers?
In many cases, yes. It depends on your telecom provider and line type. We review your current setup during the consultation and plan the move so you don’t lose calls.
Can the new system work with our existing phones?
Often, yes. Many IP PBX systems support existing analog devices through gateways or analog ports. We check compatibility during the site survey.
